Living Our Mission
Our mission is to empower young men to discover the life God intended by mastering self-awareness, self-sufficiency and selfless service, building an uncommon alliance with uncommon youth for uncommon results. These men represent our mission in motion.
Ashton was raised by a single mother, he was involved in the court system, he had below average grades and school attendance and he was unemployed. Then, he joined Victory Project in 2010. He has since graduated from high school and had zero re-occurrences with the court system. He is gainfully employed in the fields of auto mechanics and security and he is currently enrolled in a local police academy.
Cody was raised by his grandmother, he wasn’t attending school, he was unemployed and he was involved in gang related activities. After joining Victory Project in 2009, he received his GED, was hired as VP’s Program Manager and has helped develop the curriculum. He was also the Advisor for Ohio’s Juvenile Detention Alternative Initiative! Recently Cody was hired by a local home improvement business. He is now married with children and supports his grandmother and quadriplegic brother. Cody gives God credit for the change in his life.
James was raised by a single mother, he was involved in the court system, received below average grades and was sent to a special public school for behavior problems. Since joining Victory Project in 2011, he has had zero re-occurrences with criminal justice and graduated from high school. Now he is in an apprenticeship program at Local Iron Workers 209. James gives God credit for change in his life. In 2014 James bought a house and is engaged to be married.
Wes was raised by a single mother, he had below average grades and was unemployed. After he joined Victory Project in 2011, he was voted prom king and graduated from high school. Wes has had zero occurrences with criminal justice and credits God for the change in his life. In 2013 Wes joined the Army.
